A new lightweight perimeter frame, revised swingarm, and longer wheelbase offer improved rear-end traction, controllability, and stability. Optimized rigidity balance makes for a steady front-end feel that translates to precise cornering performance.
A high-performance 49mm inverted Showa coil-spring fork handles suspension duties up front, with optimized suspension settings for improved shock absorption. The fork's internal valving, adjusters, and oil level are finely tuned, and the large-diameter inner tubes (the same size as on our factory motocross racers) enable the use of large damping pistons for smooth action and firm damping.
An updated New Uni-Trak® rear suspension system features a Showa shock with adjustable dual-range (high- and low-speed) compression damping, adjustable rebound damping, and adjustable preload. The result is optimal damping and rear-wheel traction.
A new, improved seat and slim shrouds enhance appearance and ergonomics.
A high-performance front and rear Brembo brake package delivers strong, consistent stopping power. Up front, a Brembo brake caliper and master cylinder are complemented by a steel-braided brake line that sharpens feel and controllability, while new rear Brembo brake components help smooth out corner entry for quicker cornering.

Ride with championship-ready confidence on the 2027 KX™450F motorcycle. An updated frame, revised suspension settings, and refined rider ergonomics help offer sharper handling and greater rider connection, while Brembo brake components supply elite stopping power.
Optimized fuel injection settings deliver a stronger low-end power feel with improved pull through the mid–high rpm range. The difference is immediately noticeable when accelerating out of corners, while strong top-end power keeps charging down the straight.
With revised intake and exhaust systems and optimized fuel injection settings, the new KX™450F engine improves performance with a more aggressive engine feeling and more power at mid–high rpm.
The revised exhaust system optimizes power delivery across the rev range, helping the KX™450F pull hard through acceleration and maintain strong top-end performance down the straight.

The 2027 KX™450F motorcycle helps you stay ahead of the pack from the starting gate to the finish line. Refined from intake to exhaust, the race-ready engine delivers broad, usable torque and responsive power across the rev range.
Kawasaki’s next-generation RIDEOLOGY THE APP KX™2 gives riders more ways than ever to tune and manage their KX™ machine straight from their smartphone. Intuitive engine mapping and expanded launch and traction control selection make fine-tuning easier and more precise. The app also offers engine monitoring, recording of trip logs via an onboard GPS unit, maintenance reminders, and KX™ FI Calibration functionality for adjusting fueling and ignition timing.
Power Mode Selection allows riders to switch between 2 power modes (Normal or Mild) quickly and easily. Using the Power mode (M) button on the left handlebar, riders can select between Normal and Mild response to suit the current riding conditions or preference. These 2 maps, initially set to the same configuration, can be selected via RIDEOLOGY THE APP KX™2.
The KX™450F motorcycle features Kawasaki TRaction Control (KTRC) for superior performance. Using the KTRC mode (T) button on the left handlebar, riders can select from Mode 1, Mode 2, or OFF to suit the current riding conditions or preference. The setting for both modes is initially the same, but the level of intervention for each mode can be set via RIDEOLOGY THE APP KX™2.
A factory-style launch control system helps put power to the ground for maximum acceleration. Riders can activate Launch Control Mode by pressing the Mode and Traction buttons simultaneously. Using RIDEOLOGY THE APP KX™2, riders can select from 3 intervention levels and adjust rev-limit settings to suit the current riding conditions or preference.

Medium-compound ODI Lock-On grips deliver excellent grip feel with a screw-type fastening system that makes changing grips quick and easy.
A quick-release side cover can be removed without tools, allowing for easy access to the air filter element.
